About

What is Words Alive Kamloops?

Formerly the Kamloops Writers Festival, Words Alive Kamloops is the only event of its kind in the Kamloops area. This festival gives readers and writers the chance to meet fantastic authors, connect with other word lovers and learn the artistry and tools behind various genres of the written or spoken word.

Who Organizes the Festival?

Words Alive Kamloops is produced by the Kamloops Society for the Written Arts (KSWA - visit www.kswa.ca for more information), a volunteer-run non-profit organization. The festival is organized each year by a team of dedicated volunteers.
